OLGU, Journal of Sociology, which is based on the Department of Sociology at Samsun University, sets out to bring qualified studies in the field of sociology in Turkey and around the world to the literature of sociology. Adopting the open and free access policy, the journal will meet its readers on the online platform.

The OLGU is concerned with being the scientific home of sociological research both in Turkey and around the world. In this respect, we aim to bring together individuals, facts, institutions, relationships and problems in micro, mezzo and macro dimensions with the academy in the perspective of classical, contemporary theories and qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods.
